Mr. McGowan is the founder and CEO of RAMSoft Solutions, and has led the company since its inception in 1993. He has over 20 years of experience managing projects and developing applications software for microcomputers. He has managed multi-million dollar software development projects for many Fortune 100 companies, including Chase Manhattan Bank, Prudential Insurance, and True North Media Services and has acted as a senior technical advisor for dozens of other projects.

Mr. McGowan graduated from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He has been developing software for microcomputers since 1980, and has developed applications for many Fortune 500 companies using a wide variety of development tools, languages, architectures, and operating systems. From 1988 to 1990 he worked for Palisades Institute for Research Services developing software solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense, assisting them in maintaining a database of classified information. From 1990 to 1992 he worked for a vendor of human resource information systems, Humanic Design, as a software developer and project leader. In 1993 he founded his own systems consulting company, RAMSoft Solutions, leading software development projects for companies like Chase Manhattan Bank, Prudential Insurance, and A&P.
